Student Welfare
In the modern system of education, students occupy
the centre stage and the whole system revolves them. Hence, student welfare
ought to be one of the prime objectives of educational policymakers. Our
college strives to attain this goal through various mechanisms. The first and
foremost aim is to provide basic amenities like clean water, adequate
electricity, good seating facilities and proper ambience conducive for studies
to students in the campus.
Students Aid Fund (SAF) is meant to provide
financial assistance by fee waiver to needy students on the basis of their
merit. Mentoring is an important medium for knowing our students better and
establishing a rapport with them. Mentors are supposed to pay personal
attention to their mentees and find out their strengths and weaknesses which is
crucial for counselling students about their best career prospects.
The college
provides expert guidance to students about the careers they should choose in
accordance with their specific personality traits. Every effort is being made
to spot inherent talents of students and provide a conducive atmosphere for
their all-round development. Equal emphasis is laid on physical and mental
health of our students. Students are encouraged to participate in cocurricular
and extracurricular activities to sharpen their additional skills. Specially
gifted students in various skills are appropriately rewarded by giving them prizes
which ac5s as a catalyst to hone their skills.
