Skill development as a means of tackling the problem of educated unemployment is at the heart of NEP and is being passionately pursued by the State Govt of Uttar Pradesh which has recently introduced certain job-oriented courses in some selected educational institutions of the state. We at Shia PG College feel extremely privileged to be launching a new course of BSc (Tourism & Hospitality Management) which comes with very attractive career prospects for 10+2 pass students in hospitality sector. Given that the tourism and hospitality sector is growing at a tremendous pace in UP, such a course is precisely the happening thing and is much sought after by the employers. Assurance of a decent job after successful completion is a highlight of this course.
